Stick to gallente drones unless you are fighting a rat that seems to have an unbreakable tank. Just make sure you use lights against small ships and mediums against medium sized ships for optimal dps and whatever maxed out combination you can for ...

Smaller ships need shield extenders to pull off the passive tank which balloons out their sig radius, the Rattlesnake doesn't as its shield is big enough stock. You can quite easily get over a 2k passive tank RS but it will also pump out over 700d...
